Scent of her

“Numb, broken into pieces
Left in the cold, relinquished.
A Cologne with footsteps
advanced and held her up,
With a Warm Hug, she came;
To fix the shatters.”

She needs her.

No one can replace the place of a woman who supports another woman in need. Certainly, she comes to her full potential when she gets support from her men in life be it her father, brother, husband or friend but most importantly she needs support of another divine woman too.  And this remains a silent key.

City of Stars

Hello All, today I am sharing few lines about my Birthplace Amroha a city of the Uttar Pradesh state in India. It is located north-west of Moradabad. These lines are not enough to describe the heart and soul of it but still would like to share them on the occasion of Eid as this festival is brightly celebrated here.

City
That defines me,
My worth of a few smiles,
Marks a million to me,
I cherish and rely.
The winds never changed,
Circulated and stayed,
The sands and walls that engrained.
Oh! They’re attached
With the eyes of blind love
The heart and soul of a dove.

City that celebrates moments and memories,
Eids, Diwali, Christmas, or baisakhis.

Where varieties of mangoes that are found,
I buy outside but miss the sweetness profound.
My city I was born with Candy’s so raw
Like the tingly taste of sourness poured.
My city where the best variety of biryani’s served,
Appetizing with spices and flavours savoured.
My city of charming scents of spells
They say who pray here never goes to hell
My city, my roots
Strongly so blend, the streets, the honks,
The vendors and friends
My city is whispers of love, emotions I believe
It is where I woke up to the world and is where I’d fall asleep.

Beautiful Jama Masjid in Amroha, Uttar pradesh
More than 100 kgs of biryani cooked at a place.
Prayers on Eid in Amroha

There is a lot to write about the place, I shall make a separate blog for that. Thanks for reading!

Eid Mubarak!

Socha toh tha..

An Orphan

His bleak piece of meat,
Cacophony of his grief.
Sweat shrieked on his skin,
the scuffle for vittles to win.

Destitute, the eyes,
Never dared to dream a care!
He shook my hand
And tried to share,
A plight of his daily nightmares!

Bottomless pit, bereft bowels
His rags and dusts that travel.
What are toys or his plays,
All he thinks is to manage his dreads.
Tussle for life, an endeavour to feed;
His hunger, a different greed.

And we share a meal and some joys
His innocent smile and tiny eyes
Departed as I; taking a Sigh.
Silhouettes drawn of strayed life;
The meager truth of an Orphan cries.

A Walk to Remember!

Walking in the meadows of wilderness,
Struck by the purple haze,
Oh they gliding cheerfully,
Frolic their ways.
A memory that binds,
Oh a future that’s chased
Deserted on lands, yet so amazed.

Walking on the sands of fire,
Rippling their blaze,
Oh they Piled together,
half-baked assemblage.
Mirage that binds,
Oh a thirst that’s razed!
Barren lands, yet so glazed.

A Walk to Remember, and a juncture to praise!

Waves

Make me thy wave,
Lift me as thy tide.
Placid in depths,
Gushing outside

Make me thy wave,
To travel miles.
Rustling together,
Till the shore lies.

“Her”

“Her”
When sun rays fall
To the wintery frost
Her Care is such
For warmth, I halt.

Cold wind blows
And nights crawl in
Her hands have the touch,
A sweet slumber to flow

A bewildered mind to cross
the waters of mile
A stone that shimmers
in the solitude, I find.
To which footsteps I keep
And expects no favour
So facile her love, that
Makes everything I bind.

My part is all her’s
And she’s all mine
Mother is more than
An Ocean of divine.
Happy mother’s Day Maa

Amore Mio ❤️

You say you admire me?
As I only met you when it rang,
You never held me
Nor beheld me until
The universe shall plan.

I wonder
If you don’t find your morning rose
Will you still intend
To water them thorns?
What if you find the flabs
not so better than the fit,
Will you still bare to blend?
What if a pimple
Popped on my forehead
Blemished your sight,
Will you still kiss when you return?
What if my dark under eyes
Your portrait didn’t decide,
Will I still be your Amore Mio?
You say,
You want to spend
The nights and days,
Will be it be forever or end?

I wonder
You say you admire me?
My imperfections,
you’d apprehend?
Or Do I need to pretend
To fit as your Aphrodite ?

Olive Greens!

Something on behalf of the martyrs’ wives who lost their beloved in the kashmir’s Handwara terroist attack .

Take me somewhere Oh Olive greens
Where I can feel the droplets of rains on you..
Take me somewhere Oh darling love,
Where I can again open the door for you..
Take me somewhere Oh you dear,
Where I shower the love and nights stare..
Take me somewhere, my partner at dark
Where I glow and we shine together as stars..”

Anger

It’s about anger that’s developed in a mind when emotions lose stablity and control. And it’s very important to learn to maintain this balance between our mind and intellect.

If mind wins, intellect loses in that situation, and when intellect is put in darkness, the soul is wounded and so does the impatient mind who craves for peace or healing(because untrained mind always runs to find solace outside but never settles with just it’s own self) gets angry and anger if remained unchannelised,Mind you, yes unchannelised anger becomes the cause of his suffering and branches of suffering shoots out really fast. And therefore More suffering.

It’s also dependent on the food we take, be it for our stomach to survive or for our thoughts. It’s believed in Ayurveda that We become, what we eat. So watching everytime what we take inside, puts us into the Law of attraction naturally. We take what’s better for us, we are in tranquil state. So Anger is just one part of our incapability of stopping our mind to hijack our intellect. And hence the loss happens. I remember a verse from Bhagwad Geeta(a Hindu Scripture) which has helped me many times to control the imbalance of my emotions and that is :

‘indriyani parany ahur
indriyebhyah param manah
manasas tu para buddhir
yo buddheh paratas tu sah’

TRANSLATION: The working senses are superior to dull matter; mind is higher than the senses; intelligence is still higher than the mind; and he [the soul] is even higher than the intelligence.

It’s our choice that We do a business with reaction which is mind’s natural tendency or response which is intellect’s light , See which’s profitable!

Binge!

Raw, it’s stirred for longer hours
Hands that hold
Blend with love
Oh it’s Appetizing
And there’s a Drooling face!
Slow it takes,
It’s getting transformed
From the raw to the fine;
Smell of the cookery
It’s everywhere
It spreads and gives flair
Tangy tinge and opened taste buds
Those green colour garnish
Oh it’s a binge!
It only matters; the end result it is
It can’t be undone.
Power of the hands
Hands that hold patience and
Blend with love.

Am in awe of you.

Glittering stars,
Those bewitching eyes.
Luminous face,
Like a moon’s grace.
Herculean carcass,
Like a mountain’s mass.
Cherubic contemplation
Like angelic deliberation.

When I saw you,
Oh, I am in awe of you.
