In the beginning

In the beginning
Its not the storm,
But just a jerk
Turmoils the system
To a disaster.

A simple thought
Linking the locks
Of chain of negativity
Bombarding the nervous
System with complexities

In the beginning
It's only a set of fears
And boundaries to pass on
And few heartbeats more
Needed to settle that down.

In the beginning,
Nothing matters, but
In the end,
Beginning is what was needed the most.
Cause it's the creation of the end.
Beginnings are important

Cry of love

Pearls of her bead tied
like doves in a row
Oh they embellish her collar bone.
And those ones
hanging down her ears
Rhyme with the flames of her fears.

Pause, he stops his wheels.
And there,
She steps up her eager heel.
His fragrance oh so wild
But his smile, graciously mild;
Now their heartbeats declined to abide
And yet patiently they drive.

Sshh, It’s the season of pure love,
Her lashes falling down
Oh This Beauty, not pretentious or lied
Her cheekbones, blushing red
Just like the color of wine they have.

This Sparkles in his eyes and
Glittery butterflies
Ohh This moment is
Perfect in world of chaos and cries
A cry of love they made tonight.

When you’re with me

My dried leaves just breathe
to blossom
I dance on the tunes of our rhythm
When you are with me
Time flies, there exists no
word called as Boredom
I sway on the cradle of
freedom
When you are with me
You just make a still life,
Awesome!

White lights pouring the tulle does gleam sweaty toes and glossy shoes, wooden floor beneath Hands rising, up in the air as graceful as they could be and swirling the air above;blending in the scent of, the sweetest of roses And oh, my legs do slip like butter on the floor spanning like compass, sketching a […]

Coming back to life

It's been a long journey
And no rest
Countless maples fallen at a breath,
The silence of the road
With fireflies at sides
Disordered thoughts
Brimming the river of quests.

A wanderer in the mist
Treading on the unmetalled sides,
With pebbles and dirt only to guide.
Winds screaming loud; out
Their zest,
And crashing thunders, strike
Lightning in her chest.

She halted for a while
And looked above
With her stretched arms
And cramped curves;
As a ray of light
Weeping out from holes of
green blades,packed in
bunches spread for a shade.

She packs her heart
Even tighter this time
A brand new dust
ahead her climbs,
A long journey served
For a better destiny to find
And a beauty, one of its kind.

Reversing Gravity.

“Sometimes you just don’t want to see the reflection of yours through words or mirrors.
Sometimes light just don’t show up cause, its in the dark that you are waiting for the clouds to clear.
Sometimes its just the boredom you feel out of freedom.
Sometimes your clock is ticking ticking but mind is stuck at a station.
Sometimes when you feel helpless within,
In urge to just help yourself out.
It’s when you are willing to cry out but only walls revert you a hopeless shout.
For those times, when everything is upside down, try a Headstand, Please.
Reverse the effect of gravity in your body.”

It’s okay, to be in a posture which is opposite to the world around you.
Feel the blood flowing in you. This is your Life. Live it for all the times. And realise that until the tick of your beat is gone, everything can become just Right. For a new ‘second’ to come, this one has to pass, so This time too shall pass.

I have written couple of poetries regarding support that one might need dealing a troubled mental situation he/she is into and the urge to delete this stigma attached with sharing issues of mental health with someone. You can check out the links here :

I Said, You Heard

Scent of Her

Cheers

Am not a psychologist or a psychiatrist, I don’t mean to prescribe you the steps that will work on your body or mind, I only am sharing what sometimes work for me when I am in the state of Anxiety, Depressions or any issue. It’s okay to have them, you know you just can’t deal and solve everything in your life at a particular moment. But one day you will. And that remains essential to tell oneself. You just don’t have to live up to anyone’s expectations when you are not able to. Again I would say, Everything can just become normal, give a doctor to your self, give yourself to people who love you. You are not wrong if you feel so about your condition. Don’t think it’s The End. Your Life is too precious, if not for you but your loved ones. And please Don’t think you don’t have any. You do have. Ofcourse it’s your Life you decide what to do with that, but please Live to do it. And,

Someday Ears will be there to hear you,

someday, mind will Change it’s station,

someday freedom will release the pain,

someday you will wake up in light.

And that day, you will see your confidence luminate on your face, the victory of this Underdog will reflect and shine bright in the world.

Illusion!

When sunsets down,
Her phone rings and
she leaves the house for some sessions
A routine she’d follow
Without fail or procastination.

There wasn’t enough time
For him to discuss his Sorrows
Or suspicions;
Illusive images of infidelity
Oh, Pierced his heart with
pins and needles of friction.
And inarticulated judgements
would fill to his thoughts of fiction,
Ants in his pants made him restless
To follow for investigation.

It was like sighting a misty mountain
ahead of him,
At the start of his mission
Covered with murky notions
About the presumptuous destination.

Panting with suffocation,Choked with dilemmas and futuristic decisions.
Sometime later, his blurred sight reaches closer to
a Clear destination.
Veil was put off to see that mountain fogged was his sombered assumptions.
an Illusion was struck hard with reality
As his Oh! dear wife was seen voluntarily serving needful patients.

Some people put their lives on risks even when they know the risk is too high of losing their own relationship s(cause sometimes they go against their family’s assent) to save others or give service to them. Salute to these warriors and their family members who sacrifice equally when they see their loved ones going extra mile for humanity.

Red Dot

“She was playing in the fields
It was five in the eve
Sharing chuckles and giggles with her peeps,
Suddenly, her eyes see her pants bleed.
She wasn’t informed of-
About these monthly norms, so
Befuddled! She runs, with a
A timorous sob,
And shows her mother
Her imbrued shorts.

Hush Hush, she was told
To grab the piece of cloth
From a 12 year old,
you are now a lady grown!
Prepare with adornments
For your ceremonial flaunts
It’s a monthly deal, your body has owned.

And this ‘Red dot’ shows up
Every 28 days like the moon is sought.
But with these 5 days,
Many social stigmas are brought,
Prejudices and discrimination heavies her bloat.
Towels torn to be used for repititive clots.
Unaware about the hygiene
Her life is though put, on a Risky shot.

Infrastructure, sanitary supplies,
Medications are needed a lot,
Be aware not hide, cause
Periods are not a shame
Or a taboo to be thought!”

I am a little late in posting this but, Better late than Never.
I think almost every woman who reads my post here, is privileged enough to get the necessary supplies for her menstrual hygiene but I believe she must be certainly connected to women( like helpers, cooks, maids, any friend, acquaintance,e.t.c) who don’t have much access/ awareness about the importance of menstrual hygiene. And I too participate in spreading information about this, which is crucial in this time of adversity. Doing my duty as a Netizen, for those who are deprived of their Fundamental Rights.

‘Periods in pandemics’
The pandemic has adversely affected millions of women and girls from economically disadvantaged sections of the society who are finding it difficult to manage their periods safely, hygienically and with dignity.

The UNICEF-launched a week-long campaign #RedDotChallenge for ensuring all girls manage their periods safely.

The campaign was launched ahead of the Menstrual Hygiene Day — to recognise the importance of menstrual health and hygiene issues and bring to attention the difficulties faced by adolescent girls, further exacerbated amidst the crisis.

The theme for this year’s MHD was ‘Periods in pandemics’.

The Menstrual Hygiene Day is an annual event which was initiated in the year 2014 by the German based NGO WASH United which aims to benefit women and girl worldwide through their awareness programme. May 28 was selected as the day to acknowledge that 28 days is the average length of the menstrual cycle.

India is also participating in the campaign through social media, many celebrities including the former Miss World Manushi Chhillar  have come up with their posts of awareness.

Indian Railways took the initiative to spread awareness about menstrual hygiene among women passengers on Shramik trains.

Assam Branch of Indian Tea Association (ABITA)-UNICEF celebrated Menstrual Hygiene Day in various tea gardens (ABITA) with the sole objective of creating awareness among the tea garden community on ‘Menstrual Hygiene Management’.

If you wish you may share this post and spread the word, if you have suggestions, do comment below and please I request to talk to women or girls who work under you about their conditions. May be you can help them in some way. Thank you.

Thanks for reading.

Ps: I forgot to mention out something, yes I know Men might hesitate to share these talks straightaway with women, thinking they might offended or something. I can still help you in participating, so this month, when you give your helpers(male) or your employees a salary, do gift them a packet of sanitary napkin with piece of advice to protect their wives’ or loved one’s health.

Thank you again.

Unlock 1.0

Namaskar!

I am so grateful to everything around me, each one of you who has kept me safe till now, the air around me, my flowers, people who have directly or indirectly come in my zone of influence very single entity who has been supporting each other to fight and survive, I am truly blessed to have them.

Our government is running tirelessly to provide best support to us, and now started to UNLOCK the country in phases. We ought to give them support so that they can work efficiently, let’s realise that everything is for us. The rules, the restrictions, The exemptions, everything is for you and me . So let’s join them to best coordinate,

cause its not so easy to do everything Alone.

Happy UnLock1.0.  Keep healthy. Stay positive and safe. Keep loving!

Cheers!

When life seems a white paper
So Take a brush and paint it
With some bright of Reds’, mild of pastels’, dark of blacks’ and haze of Greys’.

When life seems an empty plate
So take a knife
And peel the skins away
Platter it with sweet of sugars’,
Sour of lemons’, spice of chillies’,  sprinkles of salts’.

When life seems a sky with clouds
Lifeless scenery of woods standing out
So take a pin,
And bursts them loud,
Turn on the music of rains
And dance with waters falling on window panes.

When life seems with wear and tear complains
Call the experts,
Grease it, sweat it and renew it to make it work out.

And still if it seems like an empty glass
Open the cap of the bottle
Pour it in
With ice cubes or water
Take a Cheers, Smile!

Tomorrow you will feel it full.

Cheers to Life

Inspired by one of my friend who reminded me in a conversation that Life is beautiful and alot is there to explore. Colours of life are only adding beauty to it. The blacks and Grey’s they are impactful. They are necessary.

The sour and bitters are needed to enjoy the flavours because they open up the taste buds of life.

The dark clouds are necessary to enjoy the dance of tears and sorrows on our cheeks. And the wears and tears are part and parcel of life. They force to keep maintaining ourselves.

And lastly, if everything is wailing and there is only shadow that you see, Open your bottle of joy, emotions and drink with cool ice to Let it flow! Let it go! Or Let it be! Take a chill pill, take a deep breath. Smile. Life is Gorgeous.

I Said, You Heard!

When I said,
You heard.
But only
Silence muttered.

To me,
Your words
were like the
Lull of falling waters,
But this dead air
has become
a colossal storm
Of thoughts
whirling inside,
An endless surge,
hankering to hear.

Again When I said,
You heard,
But your sealed lips,
moved away with No words
I plead,
to now, let this voice
Be heard
And let it so loud,
That the thunders prevail
And rains of tears
fall from eyes
Of the monsters,
who mirthed.
Remember,
Your dearth of voice
Will fervour their ruth
But your roaring sound,
shall stab them through.

Now for once
Forgive yourself for
The plight you’re hurt.
Oh dear!
when I said this
I wish to hear from
your chords,
cause,
Years have passed.
Now,
I beg you to Converse.

There are a lot of people who don’t speak out against the atrocities they are going through. There can be many Reasons with which they convince themselves for not speaking out, but that only kill them inside and make the cruel more powerful. So I really hope that the one who is going through cruelties or have been through any tragic incident or attack should not confine it to oneself. It’s not meant to be that way, Let it out and give your self chance to forgive and forget what happened. Don’t die trying to delete it inside you, dare to discuss with any person you’re comfortable with. Focus on mental health. May be if you speak, another one is saved from sealing his/her lips.

Thanks for reading.
